Ray Justice
My name is Ray Justice. I am running for LaVerkin City Council. You can view my bio/profile on either the vote.utah.gov website or my personal FaceBook page (I have posted it as “Public” so that all Citizens can view it, not just my “Friends” on FaceBook). I am asking for your support and vote to allow me to continue to serve the LaVerkin Community.
I love this community and it’s people. I have always voted with both in mind. I have always been open & receptive to the concerns, comments and questions from my neighbors & constituents. I take pride in my voting record and the manner in which I represent YOU. I am thorough in my preparation, research and examination of the issues prior to Work meetings, City Council meetings, Washington County Solid Waste District meetings or any other meetings I’m tasked to attend…and in all of those, my attendance & participation is impeccable. I stay abreast of the issues that concern the community and am very committed to the extra-curricular activities of the community. I support the existing community businesses and would like to see more restaurants and other successful businesses that will provide local jobs as well as tax revenue for the City, (so that we can keep from adding more property taxes to our homes). I believe in growth paying it’s own way and do not feel that tax breaks or incentives are necessary to attract new businesses. We have the LOCATION and tourists they need to enhance their customer base (and the loyal locals) to help them succeed.
